Today we head to the heart of crystal peak and learn a new ability, Crystal Heart. This will be a full blind playthrough of this metroidvania classic. Today I’m gonna head to Fog Canyon first, the one area that we know about but haven’t cleared out yet. That ends up being a pretty fruitless journey so we head over to the crystal caves to test our Desolate Dive and get access to the Crystal Peak where we must fight the Crystal Guardian to gain access to a new bench. Along the way we bump into Quirrel again and learn a new ability called Crystal Heart which allows you to blast through the air. Finally we find a lift which is a shortcut between Dirtmouth and Crystal Peak so that we can go and buy the Lumafly Lantern from Sly the fly.
