Infinite Warfare Has Done Nothing Wrong

Fuck The Haters

Call of Duty recently released the trailer for the next instalment of Call of Duty. While I personally enjoyed the trailer, the collective Internet has decided that it is worse than the Ghostbusters reboot. However, nothing is worse than the Ghostbusters reboot.

Like a lot worse Like a lot worse

Now listen up, idiotic masses. Is Call of Duty right for forcing you to pay $80 to get Modern Warfare Remastered? No. Is that a reason to attack the base game because “You don’t like the future”? Of fucking course not.  Tell me, besides being a vessel for Eco suits and robots, how much has setting affected Call of Duty? Ghosts felt just like Black Ops. Why? Because they are the same, refined, mechanics each time with a different flavor. If you have fatigue from a setting, simply speak with your wallet instead of screaming online

Hmmm, do you really want a past setting or this? Hmmm, do you really want a past setting or this?

For fuck sake, for people that claim to boycott Call of Duty every year you sure do consistently buy over 20 million copies of it annually. Now, I’m not saying you’ll buy it after gameplay and E3, but yeah that’s exactly what I’m saying. Call of Duty is a perfectly fine series. You’re getting exactly what you pay for, you know you’re going to get a sound game with very few bugs, and you know you’ll consistently be using the mute all button because of shitty 12 year olds. Just like you were when you first got into Call of Duty.

Furthermore, if we’re already getting a past setting in one shooter, why wouldn’t you want a future setting should you have the urge to play one? A wider array of settings is always good, and market diversity is finally starting to show that. Perhaps as this game launches we’ll see if it breaks records, either negatively or positively. Until then, stop complaining you self-entitled pricks.
