New features announced for upcoming Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization™

Fans of one of the most popular anime series, Sword Art Online, can rejoice today as new features for an upcoming game from the series have been revealed.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization™ is confirmed to feature the characters Agil and Klein, both of whom are former Sword Art Online players.

They return alongside other character favourites to join Kirito for a brand new adventure in Aincrad. Players will be able to experience brand new social and online features through these characters.

Features previously unseen in the series will be introduced in Hollow Realization. These include a wider world with new environments and new monsters to face.

The game begins in the Town of Beginning and from here, players will have the choice to customise their avatar and set off on their game.

Over 300 NPCs are available in the game for players to meet and hire for combat assistance. You can create bonds with these NPCs and offer them equipment, and the closer your character gets to an NPC, the stronger it will become.

The game is said to be “the most ambitious SAO game created to date” and has been created with the help of Reki Kawahara, the original author of the Sword Art Online novels.

Previous games in the series include: Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment™, and Sword Art Online: Lost Song™.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization™ will be released in Autumn 2016 in Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Australia for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
