Bethesda Announce Fallout 4 DLC, Fallout Shelter Updates, VR and a Skyrim Remaster!

If you are a Bethesda fan then it’s time to get excited! Really Really Excited!

The Bethesda showcase just went ahead at E3 and what a show it was. Prey, Dishonored 2, Fallout and Skyrim? …Yes, I said Skyrim.

So we aren’t here to talk about new games. You want to know about the games you already know and what’s happening to them that you don’t yet know but want to know. You know that right? So Let’s start with Fallout.

Fallout 4

Contraptions Workshop Release Next Week:

Contraptions is a workshop addon that will allow you do build even more stuff for your Fallout man caves. Elevators that will… well they’ll elevate you. Unless you’re going down, in which case the’ll de-elevate?! Anyways they’ll let you go up and down without having to build loads of gravity defying staircases. Armour and weapon racks will be added to show off your item sets, as well as unusual track kits, sorting machines and convey belts for making satan knows what. We’ll definitely see an increase in Fallout videos on YouTube thats for sure.

Vault-Tec Workshop Releases July 2016:

Another workshop addon and something a lot of Fallout builders have been screaming out for; the ability to build our own vaults. This actually looks more like a Fallout Shelter remaster with the ability to create different rooms, train (experiment) on your dwellers and defend the place from naughties wanting to get into your gym.

Nuka World Releases August 2016:

Nuka World is the next big DLC since Far Harbor and not too much information has been released on it yet. However, judging from the video, it will take place in Nuka World! Yes that was obvious, but it looks even more fun as Nuka World is actually a theme park. Let’s hope this is as great as it sounds.

Fallout Shelter

Update Releases July 2016

Millions of people played Fallout Shelter and millions of people stopped playing it. I’m actually so happy that I’m still going with it as Bethesda announced some great updates for the popular mobile game. Well, it’s no longer only mobile as one of the reveals was that it’s coming to PC next month.

Aside from that we will now get to experience the outside world (it’s like F4 and Shelter and doing a bit of role reversal here). Quests are being implemented where you can send your characters out and about to discover new locations and fight new enemies. A new combat system is introduced and more characters are being added. Exciting stuff!

Skyrim Remaster

Release date 28 October 2016

This part of the news article only needs 2 words really to get anyone excited and they’re already in the title: SKYRIM REMASTER! There is literally nothing more to say. The video footage shows off the new lush world, brought to the current generation and everyone is going to adore it.

To see all of this footage for yourself, then you can hear it direct from Todd Howard’s mouth below and keep up to date on the official Bethesda website.

Adventure and RPG fan, I'm still waiting for a game to rival Baldur's Gate. Apart from working on the site, I'm a full time geek that occasionally likes to look out the window.
