Fan Recreates GoldenEye’s Facility level in Unreal Engine 4

A student 3D game artist named Jude Wilson has remade the Facility Level from the N64’s GoldenEye 007 in the Unreal Engine 4 and it makes us yearn for a remake of the entire game.

Jude is currently studying his Masters Degree at Sheffield Hallam University, UK and created this as a project to go towards his portfolio as an Environmental Artist.

He had this to say on his YouTube video:

“I have combined the N64’s original layout with the films look and feel using Unreal Engine 4. I have tried to get it as realistic as possible, using the films interiors, props and lighting but, remaining true to the original game at the same time.

All the artwork and everything you see has been made by myself and all from scratch.
The software’s that I used to make this environment are as follows: 3DS Max, Unreal Engine 4, Marmoset Toolbag 2, Photoshop, nDo2 and Substance Designer.”

Adventure and RPG fan, I'm still waiting for a game to rival Baldur's Gate. Apart from working on the site, I'm a full time geek that occasionally likes to look out the window.
